Santa Barbara Athletic Club offers a wide variety of services including over 100 weekly group fitness classes. For those members wanting a little more personal service, personal training is available with professionally certified trainers.
The Club offers a 25 yard heated (to 81 degrees) outdoor lap pool with four lanes that is used regularly by both members for their individual workouts as well as for a variety of classes. Next to the pool is a large jacuzzi.
The outdoor weight room, stretching area and Spinning studio are a unique Club feature that overlook the pool area and has a great view of the mountains.
There are two indoor locker rooms and two outside near the pool. The inside locker rooms feature saunas and jacuzzis, the outside have steam rooms. Monthly locker rentals are available on request. Free towel service and lockers are provided during each visit.
The Club has a tranquil and inviting Pilates studio where private, semi-private and group sessions are available and led by our passionate skilled reformer instructors. We offer approximately 18 group sessions per week including a designated beginner level class.
Santa Barbara Athletic Club is known for its squash program. The Club has over 150 squash players and a full league and ladder program. It also regularly hosts tournaments for both members and visitors.
During the year the Club hosts several private member parties and gatherings including special wine tasting events and live music.
